Rimmel "u rock, eyeshadow trio"

I love swirly eyeshadows that allow for mixing them all into one color, or as i use it, as separate shades to highlight and contour. I love the colors that this compact has in it, this one is a cream eye shadow, and I like that I can use it with my finger on the go, however, I find that this thing gets all stuck in the crease of the eye like no other. Ive tried to use more, to use less, but it still gets stuck all up in there. So for me this product was not really worth it in the end, but I also use the lighter color as a highlighter for the face as well. I got this product in "wicked sweet" and I love the color so its kinda sad that it creases up so bad because I would probably use it all the time.

Physicians Formula , Healthy wear tinted moisturizer spf 50

Hi!!!
hope everyone's weekend has been a great one! It is nice and sunny today so I decided to talk about this great tinted moisturizer that Physicians Formula has come out with that has a really high SPF of 50! Since I have fair skin and I am always looking for makeup with a higher SPF, this one was right up my alley. I have to say that I was a bit disappointed when I pumped some of it out of the bottle, because since I couldn't see it (the tube is solid plastic not clear) I had to trust what the color said on the packaging . I got the "fair to light" shade and it was a bit too dark for me, this is a tinted moisturizer so it is by nature very sheer so I am still able to use it, but I have to really blend it in well to avoid the dreaded colored jawline. I do like that I haven't broken out with this product and the high SPF is definitely a plus. It does leave your face a bit shiny, so I apply a powder SPF that I have from ELF or a finishing powder (mineral veil from Bare minerals is the one I have).Since this product only gives a sheer tint, it is still possible to use pressed powder on top without feeling caked on, so I do that if I want to cover up some stuff too. I will definitely buy this product again, but will try to get a lighter shade.

Best Gelled Body Oil

Hi Guys,
After I took my shower this morning, i took great pleasure in slathering on my new gelled body oil from Avon. I was surprised to find that it is not greasy at all and that it went on really nicely without that really sticky feel that you get with others. The name of this thing is "Skin so Soft Mineral Gems Diamond Blush Gelled body oil". It absorbs and dries instantly and leaves a nice sheen on the skin, this one has "diamonds" in it and it looks like a lot, but when you put it on there isnt much of it. I have to really look hard to see the shiny stuff, but it does leave a nice glow on the skin. The only thing i dont like so much about it is that for a second it leaves almost a sticky feel on ur hand but that goes away fast so its not a deal breaker for me. It doesnt smell so great either, but that also goes away fast and you are just left with a lot of moisture! I have tried the "Vaseline cocoa butter vitalizing gel oil" and it smells really nice, it has all sorts of great oils, like brazilian nut oil, and almond oil, which is why i bought it, but it goes on really really sticky and greasy. My husband wont really touch me after i put it on cause he says i leave a trail of grease lol. But it does have really good moisturizing properties and ur skin glows really nicely. I still use it when I know I am not going anywhere and i want an extra skin boost ( i wear my crappy nighty then cause it gets all over your clothes too) and i just chill with my glass of wine and embrace my greasiness, lol! They are both cheap, I got the Avon one for ....wait for it....$3.50 (on sale, regular price is $7.00) and the Vaseline one is about the same price too.both are a good buy i think but the Avon one is much better for everyday use.

How to wake up fast and get your puffy face back to normal

If you are anything like me when you wake up in the morning your face is all puffy and you feel like you need 6 more hours of sleep (because you only had 4 to begin with...in some cases 2). Washing your face with cool water helps but what really gets you..and your skin going too is putting your toner in the fridge and swiping that on in the mornings. Toner is already kinda cool on its own and when that gets down to fridge cold it de-puffs the face and eyes in a second!I guess i should also mention that in order to have nice healthy skin, you should use alcohol free toner because these don't strip your skin of natural moisturizers (only excess) and therefore don't leave your face feeling like someone put a clay mask on it and hasn't taken it off. The one i use is "Neutrogena alcohol-free toner". I like this one because it is about $8.00 for a bottle and it leaves my face feeling fresh not tight, another important fact is that toner preps the skin to absorb your moisturizer better. I used to use "Avalon Organics vitamin C toner", which i absolutely loved because it smelled so nice and did the job, was alcohol free, and had the vitamin c which is supposed to help your skin fight free radicals or whatever, it was wonderful....but it was also $18.00 instead of $7.00 so my pocket was the deciding factor here. For a good wakeup I always do this, i keep some cotton swabs in the fridge too, for convenience. This is also good for times when you have messed with certain blackheads, pimples, etc, after a shower to help close up and clean out the pores you have just finished opening.

Burts Bees Herbal Blemish Stick

I love this roll on. It is a spot treatment roll on for acne and other blemishes which, coming from Burts Bees is supposed to be more natural and contains tea tree oil, willow-bark extract, lemon oil etc. Tea tree oil has antiseptic, anti-fungal, and antibacterial properties so thats why it helps with acne, i like it because it clears up a really bad pimple for me in about a day or two, other things like benzoil peroxide creams might do it quicker but then my sensitive skin gets all dry and irritated, and then im screwed either way! So i would rather give it a little more time and have it heal with a more natural and less harsh solution. It's got a eucalyptus type of smell to it which some may not like, but i do, and sometimes it stings a little when u put it on a pimple that you were messing with, but im weird and i like when it burns. That might be because my mom always told me "if it burns it's cause it's working". The stinging doesn't last long tho. The roll on lasts a while and costs about $8.00. Worth it!

ELF Nail Polishes and lip products

To those who do not know about this make up brand, they are great for those (like me) who have not a dollar to spare but have to get their lipstick, or nail polish fix! They are called "Eyes, Lips, Face". I love them because most things cost a dollar, and are relatively good buys. I am sensitive to most things so I was hesitant the first time I tried them, despite being so inexpensive they really do not irritate my skin like some others (almay! who knew) do. I like their lipglosses a lot! they have a ton of colors and most are not sticky at all and they usually smell/taste nice too! the only one i don't like is their "hypershine gloss" which to me tastes kinda chemically and crappy, its also really sticky. My fav of their lip things is the liquid lipstick, I LOVE this, i have it in like 6 shades (brownie, points, ruby slipper, strawberry(fav), raspberry, and cherry tart). I love them because again, they do not make me break out in a rash on my lips ...eww...and they are kind of sheer, so they complement skin tones really nicely. They have really good nail polish, a million shades to choose from (I have most, if not all of them) and they dont have bad stuff like formaldehyde. The only con I have come across is that they chip easily, i usually use them in conjuction with a base coat and "Sally Henson 10 day no chip top coat" even so it still only lasts about 4 days chip free. Hope this helps!!!

The reason why!

Hi! to whoever gets around to reading this, I hope I don't disappoint! I wanted to start this because I am a serious makeup, skincare, body and bath, and nail polish addict. If it goes on your body or face, and is supposed to make you look or feel better, I want it! That being said, i have very sensitive skin, and a lot of the products i have tried (although labeled "hypoallergenic") cause me to break out, or have a rash w/e. I go though a lot of products and have found out a lot about the issues one would come across in the never ending love/hate battle with stuff that works or doesn't! I am also extremely broke, im getting my masters in interior design so I have next to nothing to spend and everything i buy is budget friendly. So if you want to find stuff that works but are ramen noodle wallet friendly look no further!!!!
